Abstract<br/><br/>Teaching is a challenging profession, and teachers experience stress due to the difficulties associated with shifting educational policies, disengaged or dissatisfied parents, and the behavioral, emotional, and academic needs of diverse students. This stress can lead to burnout, which may lead to attrition and migration tendencies.<br/><br/>This study aimed to determine the level of burnout, attrition tendency level and migration tendency level of public school teachers in the division during the school year 2024-2025. The respondents were 242 teachers from 15 randomly selected central and non-central schools in the division. Data were gathered with the use of researcher-made questionnaire-checklist used to measure the burnout level, attrition tendency, and migration tendency levels of the teachers. Statistical tools used were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Mann- Whitney U Test, and Kruskal-Wallis Test. Level of significance was set at alpha 0.05.<br/><br/>Results revealed that teachers' level of burnout, attrition tendency level and migration tendency level were all high when taken as an entire group and when categorized according to sex, length of service, academic rank, civil status, family net monthly income, type of school employed. and grade level taught. Further, it was found out that these demographic factors do not influence teachers' experience of burnout, attrition tendency, and migration tendency. A framework for teachers' burnout, attrition, and migration tendencies was proposed based on the findings of the study and literature reviewed.<br/><br/>Public school teachers in general experienced high levels of burnout, attrition tendency, and migration tendency regardless of their sex, length of service, academic rank, civil status, family net monthly income, type of school employed, and grade level taught. Job-related factors like poor salary, heavy workload, poor working conditions unsupportive administration and colleagues play a significant influence in the teachers' burnout and attrition tendency. Teachers' desire to have a better life, personal and professional growth, and economic stability serve as the driving forces of teachers' migration abroad.<br/><br/>It is highly recommended that the government through the Department of Education plan and implement programs that will further promote teachers' wellness, over-all wellbeing, and love for the teaching profession for them to enjoy the beauty of teaching in the Philippines<br/><br/>Keywords: Teaching, Burnout, Attrition Tendency, Migration Tendency |
