Absract

The study evaluated SMPC's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) implementation and educational support effectiveness in public schools in Caluya Island during the school year 2025-2026, considering respondents' type, sex, education level, and grade level evaluated. Data from 266 respondents, including school heads, teachers, learners, parents/PTA, barangay officials, and SMPC personnel, were analyzed using researcher-made and validated instruments and SPSS 26.0. CSR implementation was assessed across five dimensions, while educational support was measured across seven dimensions.

Findings revealed that SMPC's CSR is very high across all dimensions, with internal respondents, those with higher education, and elementary-level evaluators providing the highest ratings. Both male and female respondents rated CSR very high, particularly in labor practices, human rights, and education/community development. Educational support was high across all dimensions, consistently rated by both internal and external stakeholders regardless of sex, education level, or grade level. Significant differences in CSR were noted according to respondents' type and education level, especially in education/community development and environmental responsibility, while no differences were observed by sex or grade level. For educational support, significant variation was found only in instructional methods by education level. A strong positive relationship exists between CSR and educational support. Overall, SMPC's initiatives positively influence educational development, learner performance, and community welfare through scholarships, infrastructure, teacher development, digital tools, and community partnerships. While fostering access to quality education, social capital, and trust, challenges remain in resource limitations, logistics, inclusivity, and equitable access. Addressing these gaps can further enhance educational outcomes and sustain the impact of CSR programs.

SMPC's CSR and educational support programs are effectively implemented, broadly recognized, and strategically aligned, positively contributing to community development, educational advancement, and sustainable socio-economic growth across its host communities. SMPC should continue enhancing stakeholder engagement, expand targeted educational and environmental initiatives, and implement continuous monitoring and evaluation to ensure equitable, sustainable, and impactful CSR and educational programs.
