  <abstract>Abstract 


This study evaluated acceptability, performance, and perception of senior high school learners on digitized modules in general biology 2 in a public secondary school in Northern Antique during the school year 2024-2025. The research employed an action research design with a pre-test and post-test approach, utilizing a validated 34-item researcher made-test and semi-structured interviews with learners.

The findings revealed that the developed digitized modules were highly acceptable in terms of external quality and usability, as evaluated by experts, teachers, and students. The modules significantly improved student performance in General Biology 2, with a notable shift from Satisfactory to Very Satisfactory performance levels after implementation.

Moreover, Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test confirmed a significant difference in student performance before and after the implementation of the modules.

Learners perceived the modules as accessible, convenient, user-friendly, engaging, and overall helpful. However, challenges related to internet connectivity, distractions, and limited content were also identified.

Based on the study's findings, it was concluded that the implementation of digitized modules in General Biology 2 significantly enhances the teaching-learning process by aligning with educational standards and user needs, improving student performance, fostering deeper understanding and engagement, and providing an effective and enjoyable instructional intervention. To optimize technological resources for student learning, it is recommended that the Department of Education (DepEd) should develop a comprehensive policy framework to support the widespread and effective integration of digitized modules in General Biology 2 and other science subjects. This framework must address resource allocation, teacher training, curriculum alignment, and ongoing evaluation to ensure the long-term success of digital learning initiatives.
