Abstract This study aims to determine the level of perception of residents towards the traditional healing practices of Barangay Lambayagan Sibalom, Antique. The respondents of the study were 50 purposely selected residents in Barangay Lambayagan, Sibalom, Antique. It was selected using a convenience sampling technique. Data collection was conducted using a researcher-made questionnaire to ensure effective communication and accurate interpretation. Kiniray-a was used to explain the content of the statements, ensuring that respondents fully understood the questions. The data gathered was organized and statistically analyzed using IBM Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software Version 23.0. Descriptive Statistics, such as Frequency, Percentage, and Mean, were used to summarize the data. Meanwhile, inferential statistical tools, including the Mann-Whitney U-test, Kruskal-Wallis H-test, to determine significant differences between groups as to variables at a 0.5 alpha level. Generally, people hold a high regard for traditional healing practices, as these methods are deeply rooted in their cultural beliefs, ancestral wisdom, and holistic approaches to health. When classified as to sex, male respondents exhibited a high perception of traditional healing practices, while female respondents had slightly higher perceptions. When classified as to educational attainment, respondents with elementary education reported the highest level of perception, followed by college graduates, while those with a high school education exhibited the lowest perception. When classified as to family monthly income, those earning 10,000 and below had a high perception, while respondents with an income above 10,000 reported a similar high perception. There is no significant difference in the level of perception of the residents towards traditional healing practices when grouped as to sex, educational attainment, and family monthly income. The results suggest that traditional healing practices maintain a high level of perception across demographic variables. However, slight variations exist, with females, elementary-educated individuals, and those with lower incomes showing marginally higher perceptions that are generally recognized and valued in the community where the study was conducted.
