Data were gathered using an adopted rating scale on Adversity Quotient by Dr. Paul Stoltz consisting of 20 items which evaluated the adversity quotient of cadets in terms of control, ownership, reach, and endurance. The statistical tools were mean, frequency, and percentage for descriptive analysis; the Mann-Whitney U test for independent samples, Kruskal-Wallis H Test; and the Spearman rho rank correlation for inferential analysis. The alpha level was set at .05. The study found out that, generally, cadets exhibited a high level of adversity quotient terms of control, ownership, reach, and endurance when taken as a whole and when classified according to program and year level. On the other hand, they demonstrated a very good academic performance when taken as a whole and classified according to program and year level. Significant difference was found to exist in the adversity quotient in terms of ownership when classified according to year level. No significant differences in the adversity quotient in terms of control, ownership, reach, and endurance when classified according to program. Further, no significant difference in the adversity quotient in terms of control, reach and endurance when classified according to year level. Significant relationship existed between cadet's adversity quotient and academic performance.
