Students' acceptability of mathematical problem-based tower games /

By Anselmo, Jay Mark A.. . xv, 88 leaves , ABSTRACT This descriptive-correlational research aimed to determine the acceptability on quality attributes of Mathematical Problem-Based Tower Games which are pyramidal and prism for high school students. Specially, determined the acceptability of Mathematical Problems-Based Tower games i terms of enjoyment, difficulty, and games rules when taken as an entire group and when classified as to ex and grade level. It also determined to find the significant difference in the level of acceptability of Mathematical Problems-Based Pyramid and Prism Tower games in the quality attributes of enjoyment, difficulty and games rules of students when classified as to sex and grade level and to find if there is a significant relationship in the student's level of acceptability between Mathematical Problem-Based Pyramid Tower games and Mathematical Problems-Based Prism Tower Games. The respondents of this study were composed of 70 selected grade 8, 8 and 10 students in the municipality of Libertad, Patnongoon and Tobias Fornier, Antique. The study utilized the researcher's' made -questionnaire checklist. The statistical tool the researcher's' made questionnaire checklist. The statistical tool employed were frequently, percentage, and mean as descriptive statistics. Mann-Whitney U Test, kruskal-Wallis H Test and Spearman Rho set at 0.05 alpha level were used as an inferential statistics. The high school students in this study found the mathematical problem-based tower games highly acceptable whether prism or pyramidal in games rules when taken as a group. The grade 9 and grade 10 students perceived the mathematical problems-based pyramid tower game ''highly acceptable'' while grade 8 students finds the game ''moderately acceptable''. Regardless of sex and grade level, students perceive the game ''highly acceptable'' game rules. The students in higher grade level enjoy the games because they are somewhat more mature in terms of mathematical concepts used in the game. Educational Program Superior in math should conduct seminars and training for the innovation and development of instructional materials to improve the quality of delivering instructions especially in math subjects.

Suliranin ng mga magulang sa pagtuturong modyular ng mother tongue-based multilingual education /

. xiii, 117 leaves , ABSTRACT Ang pag-aaral na ito ay isinagawa ng mga mananaliksik upang malaman ang Suliranin, Estratehiya at Karanasan ng mga Magulang sa Pagtuturong Modyular ng MTB-MLE sa Bugasong Central School Toang Panuruan 2021-2022. Convergent parallel design ang gamit na desenyo isang magkahalong kuwanlitatibo at kuwalitatibo. Para sa kuwantitatibo ang mananaliksik ay ginamit ang weighted mean upang maanalisa ang mga suliraning at estratehiya ng mga magulang sa pagtuturo ng modyular ng MTB-MLE. Para sa kuwalitatibong pag-aaral naman, ang pananaliksik ay isang penomenolohiya ng karanasan ng mga magulang. Tanging ang tatlungpu't walong (38) magulang na may anak na nagaaral sa baitang isa (1) hanggang (3) ang naging respondante ng pag-aaral. Gamit ang convenience sampling technique sa pagtukoy ng mga respondante. Lumabas sa pag-aaral na ang pagkakaroon ng modyular na pagtuturo ng MTB-MLE na ipinatupad ng DepEd ay nagdulot ng maraming suliranin para sa magulang. Hindi madali ang pagtuturo ng mga magulang ng modyul na Mother Tongue dahil nahamon ang kakayahan nila sa kasalukuyang pagbabago sa sistema ng edukasyon. Ngunit, nagkakaroon ng pagkakataon na makapagbou ng estratehiya ang mga magulang upang itaguyod nang maayos ang pagkatuto ng kanilang mga anak. Ang mga estratehiyang ito ay nakabatay sa sariling karunungan at kakayahan ng mga magulang. Dagdag pa nito, iba-iba ang paraan ng pagkatutu (learning style) ng mga bata, mahirap sa mga magulang kung paano tugunan ang kanilang pagatuto nang naayon sa paraan ng pagkatuto nito. May mga nahihirapan at may mga nagsasabi rin naman na maayos ang kanilang pagtuturo. Inirekomenda ng mga mananaliksik sa mga magulang na bigyan nga kaukulang suporta ang kanilang anak sa lahat ng aspekto upang mapaunlad ang kanilang kasanayan sa pag-unawa ng MTB-MLE. Magkakaroon ng mga estratehiya na may layuning na makuha ang atensyon ng mga bata na linangin ang pagbasa at pagsulat ng MTB-MLE tulad ng pagkakaroon ng mga babasahing Kinaray-a.
