. vii, 48 leaves , ABSTRACT This Undergraduate Research Project was designed to explore how this residents of Barangay Bari, Antique participated in local politics through General Assembly, election ad livelihood programs of the local government. Some scholars suggest that traditional, active forms of political participation may be declining, creating an uncertain future for democracy. However, other findings suggest that people may be choosing to engage in politics through non-traditional avenues, including social networking website. To explore this possibility, this Undergraduate research project used 10 open ended question answer by the 60 sample population of Barangay Bari, Sibalom, Antique to investigate how resident participation affects the general assembly. election and livelihood program of the Barangay. The dat suggest that residents' participation is needed in the local politics such as general assembly, election and livelihood program in order to maintain transparency, accountability, trust, cooperation, and respect in order to preserve the status quo. The major findings of the study are a) there is a conflict between the participation and satisfaction of the resident towards General Assembly, b) participation is needed to be alleviated, c) Barangay Council is mere effected and they are need for improvement, d) resident are politically active especially in election but week in participation in Barangay programs and activities.

Smoking and drinking alcoholic beverages : it's perceived effect among the Bachelor of Science in Criminology students /

. xi, 83 leaves , ABSTRACT This study aimed to find out the effect of smoking and drinking alcoholic beverages among BS Criminology students. This study was conducted on the calendar year 2017-2018. The respondent is two hundred thirty one (231) selected BS Criminology students. The questionnaire-checklist was used as data gathering instrument. This instrument was validated and pre-tested researcher-made questionnaire. The gathered data were analyzed using frequency percentage, mean and standard deviation. The findings of the study indicated that the effect of smoking and drinking alcoholic beverages has a negative effect when taken as an entire group. Regardless of their age, sex and year level.

. x, 30 leaves , ABSTRACT The study primarily aimed to find out why 4th year BS Criminology students of the University of Antique for Academic Year 2018 what is the level of expertise on fingerprint examination of fourth year Bachelor of Science in Criminology students The researchers made use of descriptive method of research. The respondents of the study were 178 fourth year Bachelor of Science in Criminology students of the University of Antique, Sibalom, Antique who were officially enrolled during the first semester for AY 2018. They were grouped according to sex. The data gathering instrument used in this study was the multiple-choice test constructed by the researchers. Frequency, percentage and mean were statistical tools used. The fourth year Bachelor of Science in Criminology students of the University of Antique are quite skillful in identifying the ridge characteristics in fingerprinting examination. The male fourth year students are more knowledgeable in fingerprint classification than female students.
